I’m back with Elevation Polish’s Toubkal :)

Hello, all!  Sorry to have let my life outside of my nail polish addiction cut into my blogging time for as long as I did.  Work, school, and family medical issues have taken a lot of my time, as I am sure most of you can relate to.  I have been painting photographing and occasionally browsing blogs, but just haven’t had the time to blog myself.  I will make a sincere effort to share more consistently in the future. *crossing heart*  Now on to today’s polish.

Today’s polish is one that I purchased through a blog sale at Fingers Polish ManiaHere is a link to her sale page, in case you want to take a peek.  If anyone is interested, it was a speedy and pleasant experience buying this polish and I will certainly keep browsing her page for goodies :). Elevation’s polishes are so beautiful and I had been wanting to try them for some time.  When I found a bunch of them for sale, I had to snatch them up! Along with Toubkal, I managed to get a hold of Aurora, Broad Peak, Elbrus, Rapa Nui and Ubsunur.  These are not on the blog outside the group shot of my haul below YET, but will be eventually. 😀

Blog sale bargains!

Toubkal from Elevation Polish is a burgundy jelly polish that is just packed with golden flakies and microglitter.  My photographs really don’t do this polish justice, but you can definitely get an idea of how packed full of golden glow this polish is.  These photos show two coats of polish with base and top coat, and clearly this polish offers smooth application and full coverage.  AND without having to put on a third coat, yay!  I think that with the right pale or pastel base color, this one might even work well as a topcoat. I will have to play with that one and see what I can come up with.  Who else has this polish and what do you think of it?

Pure Nail Oil Review/Results (Finally lol)

Hey folks!  I am finally getting around to posting the results of my Pure Nail Oil treatment.  Check my post here to see before pics.  For more information on Pure Nail Oil, check out the Nail Care HQ website here.  Sorry about the wonky order of the gallery photos below, couldn’t seem to figure out how to change that (click on any picture to see a larger version of it). *twitch*

I did start the pics as Day 1 is before any oil application, so my first pic here is Day 2, after one day of treatment.  I ended up doing 5 days and using more than 2 full pens of oil on my nails.  I’m already seeing a bit of improvement after just one day. 🙂

Next we have day 3, after two full days of intense oil treatment.

Next we have day 6, after five full days of intense oil treatment.

I think the results are amazing and my nails are growing well without splitting or tearing.  Mind you, my nails have never been quick to grow, so to see the growth shown below after just under 3 weeks is really good for me.  Bonus shot of my nails today immediately after removing polish.  You’ll notice that, although they are dry, they are not as dry as you might expect after having used 100% acetone.  Of course, I applied the oil right after this was taken.  But I wanted you to see how much my nails and cuticles stay hydrated even after remover was used.

Left hand after 5 day intense hydration and daily use (1-2x daily)

Right hand after 5 day intense hydration and daily use (1-2x daily)

Using this product for the initial intense hydration and routinely twice a day (more for whenever your nails are exposed to water) has made a drastic difference in my nails and I will recommend it to anyone I can!  Let me know if you have tried Pure Nail Oil and, if so, how were your results?  I hope that this post was helpful to you and look forward to hearing from you if you try this product in the future.

For the record, this product was purchased by me for personal use and was not supplied to me for review.

Thanks for reading – have a great day!

Modi Peel Off Base Coat

Seriously, how do I buy a gross of these?  I have yet to try the PVA glue method, but this seems to be an inexpensive alternative (not knowing what it would cost to ship this from Korea unless it can be found elsewhere).  Hmmm…..

Modi Peel Off Base Coat.
