This manicure started with me wanting to use a color I haven’t recently: green. To that end, I selected Finger Paint’s Sketch N Etch. It’s a nice bright green shimmer, with some small green glitter here and there. It’s basically a green version of Champagne Bubbles from China Glaze. It really is a pick-me-up to see this bright color on my fingernails! 🙂
Then I decided to dress it up a bit for Halloween so I pulled out my Bundle Monster plates, BM-305 specifically, since this one has several great Halloween images. Once again I couldn’t decide on which to use, so I used all of them! At first I tried to stamp with a black polish (Sally Hansen Salon in Black Patent), but that wasn’t showing very well. Then I tried to use a white color instead (Wet & Wild French White Creme), but to my shock an dismay that was as weak as the last color! Then I decided to try a metallic polish and I grabbed my Harley by Julep, a silver chrome polish. This one had much better results and I stuck with it.
The left hand was a series of do-overs with multiple color stamps, so that one will stay hidden this time. Here’s a shot of what I managed to get done on my right hand. I figured it was about time ol’ righty got some blog love for a change! She works so hard to keep lefty looking her best, after all.
Here’s the only finger on the left that was worthy of posting. I did a stamp with multiple silver arrows (or are those devil tails? hmm). It didn’t come out as the beautiful fan I was hoping for, but I am glad I at least got them to line up in some semblance of order. What do you think?
OK, time for me to pick my classes for Fall semester. I have had the last couple months off school to help hubby through some neck surgeries, but it’s time to get my butt back in gear! Between work, school and life in general, the blog posts may be fewer, but I will not let the blog to completely stagnant.
As always, thanks for reading! Hope you all have a great day!
