Caroline by Julep
Caroline by Julep is a deep vampy brick/ burgundy color that appears almost black in the bottle and on the nail in certain light, or a lack thereof. This is a lovely dark color, like so many I am drawn to recently. In the right light, as I hope you can see from my photographs, it really comes to life with an amazing shimmery sparkle. This one came in my Julep It Girl box for October(?), and it quickly became one I knew I would REALLY enjoy! I’ve even noticed that there are a couple shades I have that are pretty close and will have to do a comparison before long with SquareHue‘s Dear John from the February box and Sinful Color‘s Rich at Heart.
Here’s a nice close-up of this color on the nail using a flash. There is both a shimmer and an almost glittery sparkle that I really love about this color.
That’s it for today, thanks for stopping by to check out the blog. I hope you all have a great week!
Such a gorgeous color!! I want to try Julep so bad…

You should, I like their polishes. They had an issue with their brushes last year, but since then I haven’t had any issues, and they were good about sending out replacement brushes for those affected. Thanks for reading! 🙂

That’s so cool! They seem to be very professional.
I don’t really know where I can buy Julep (I’m from Argentina). I’m begging to them in Twitter to open the Maven program to everyone. Maybe some day…
